I invested in Cassava Science several months ago and made a profit when I sold the stock.
On 9 August 2021, it hit a peak of $122 due to optimism about the trial results of its treatment for Alzheimer's disease. I did not hold any shares.
A few days later, it dropped sharply due to allegations that the data for the trial were questionable.
I bought 300 shares at $57. I held the view that the doubt will be cleared up in due course.
The price dropped further, and is now at $52, giving me a loss of $1,500 USD on the 300 shares.
Here is
a positive report about the stock.
The results of the latest trial will be released soon. If it is positive, the price will move up. My target is to sell the stock at a 30% gain, say at $75.
Note - this is just a speculation. I am not giving investment advice. I am not recommending any purchase of this stock at any specific price.
