I now hold 200 shares of Tesla. The current price is US$1,172. It went to a high of $1,210 on Monday and has dropped 3.2% since.

I sold 300 shares at an average price of $910 during the past two weeks, when the stock price was moving up. The price had increased 28% since.

Here are my plan for my investment in Tesla. 

I will keep the 200 shares and sell them at $1,450. The price may continue to move up to $1,500 if there are additional catalyst (this is the word used for an event that cause the price to move up or down sharply). But, I will sell them shortly before the target of $1,500.  

I will buy an additional 200 shares if the price drops to $1,050. This is 23% below its peak price of $1,219. 

Tesla price may drop sharply if there is any major negative news. I do not know what could be the catalyst, but anything may happen.
