At the worst point a few weeks earlier, I lost about 50% on this stock, or $128,000. 

The stock price recovered during the past two weeks. I sold all of the stock and realized a gain of $59,000.

If I sold the stocks at the peak price, I would have realized a gain of $122,000. By selling too early, I only realized half of the potential gain.

If I held on to the stock, my gain would have been $77,000.
