The consumer was sold this plan as a 5 year saving plan. She was shocked to learn that it was actually a life insurance policy which required the annual premium to be paid for 10 years. The relationship manager of the bank did not explain the product clearly to her and asked her to sign some blank forms. This is bad sales practice.
